Pilates Classes

Reformer - Beginner

This is our beginner Reformer class. This class is specifically designed to help feel your body move correctly! We focus on correct muscle activation techniques, stretching and posture realignment. This class will help you build strength, flexibility and balance. All levels welcome to this class. We suggest coming to this class first if you haven't been to the depot before!

Reformer - Intermediate

A step up from our Beginner class, this is an intermediate level class specifically designed for anyone wanting to build strength and muscular endurance. We welcome beginners into this class who don't have any movement limitations or injuries however we ask that you please attend beginner or book an initial consult if you are injured or have any specific movement limitations. 

 
 

Reformer - All Levels

Our mixed reformer class is an all levels class. This class is offered In a few prime time slots so you have the opportunity to come to a time that suits, not the class that suits. This class is suitable for all levels, including beginners, being provided with a base level in the exercise with the opportunity to make it harder to create the intensity of an Intermediate level class 

 

Mat Pilates

Matwork Pilates is like a “technique masterclass" you only have our body to focus on! Breath, core control and alignment.
The flow between exercises is easy, we flow from a) to b) in a silky smooth manner which will help to keep your work rate up. We focus on both elements of the muscle contraction phase (shortening and lengthening) which means building resilience in muscles in a variety of positions. These classes are appropriate for beginner- advanced levels.

Stretch and Mobility

Come and enjoy 50 minutes of stretching on our Reformer machine or in one of our Mat Stretch classes. Come and listen to some funky, laid back music and stretch out your body from head to toe. Our go to areas: hip flexors, hamstrings and upper back/shoulders

 
 
 

Pregnancy, Postnatal, Mums with Bubs

All Levels Reformer- Bubs Friendly

Cameron Rd: Monday 5:30pm, Wednesday 730pm, Saturday 10:15am

Aston Hills: Tuesday 10:00am, Thursday 10:30am

These classes are a similar level to our mixed levels class, specifically designed to build strength and endurance. There is a specific stretching component devoted to commonly tight areas experienced in mums! Bubs are welcome, however we ask that you BYO pram, capsule, toys etc to keep them entertained as this class is a 50 minute Reformer class and can be long for bubs.

Pre & Post Natal

Cameron Rd: Monday 5:30pm, Wednesday 7:15pm, Saturday 10:15am

Aston Hills: Tuesday 10:00am, Thursday 10:30am

Our Pre and Post natal classes are specifically focused on the development of strength in a gentle and tailored fashion. We promote whole body strength, with a strong focus on the correct spinal alignment and deep abdominal + pelvic floor connection. We ask if you are newly postnatal (<4m) that you attend one of these classes before progressing to any other class. Our classes are both Mat and Reformer so check the schedule to see which one you're booking!

Child Friendly

Monday 10:00am and Thursday 11:00am

These classes are a combination of Mat Pilates, Yoga and/or Barre. They are a beginner-intermediate level class designed to build strength and endurance. There is a specific stretching component devoted to commonly tight areas experienced by mums. There is a focus on pelvic floor and deep abdominal strength as well as developing groundwork for you to be able to move into other classes.These classes are predominately in the Mat studio and there is no age limit for bubs/children.

This class is $15pp and only 40 minutes long.

If you are pregnant please attend our Pre and Post Natal Mat and Reformer Classes, outside of this you are also welcome to attend our Barre, Slow Flow Yoga or Exercise Physiology Led classes (5:1)

 

Yoga, Barre & Mat Strength

Yoga

Our classes are a vinyasa flow which consists of pranayama (breathe work) along with the physical asana (practice of yoga) to stimulate the flow of energy. Our classes assist you in gaining the many physical benefits of yoga such as strength, flexibility and balance whilst also creating peace of mind and spirit. 

Barre

Barre is a ballet inspired high intensity workout suitable for all fitness levels. Our classes will improve posture, increase flexibility and lengthen muscles all whilst targeting every muscle group whilst getting the heart rate up. The classes are 50 minutes of hard work, good music and good fun.

Mat Strength

Gain lean muscle in our 50 minute Mat Strength class. Enjoy a number of different controlled strength exercises, exerting your muscles, making you stronger while improving heart health, bone density and burning calories. Use your own body weight and/or different weights and props as resistance. Walk out with a feeling of accomplishment.

 
 

1:1 Pilates Consultations and Small Group Classes

1:1 Pilates Consultations

Our 1:1 consultations individualised sessions to assess your body, and movement limitations. These sessions are designed for individuals with injuries, general health concerns or if you feel apprehensive to start with a group class!

1:1 consults can be with either one of our pilates instructors or with one of our physiotherapists or exercise physiologist.

We focus on correct muscle activation techniques, stretching and posture realignment. These sessions will help you build strength, flexibility and balance and confidence with the pilates repertoire.

Small Group Classes (5:1)

This class is an allied health-led class, with 5 participants to 1 professional. It requires an initial consultation with either a Physiotherapist or an Exercise Physiologist.

During this class you will have an individualised program of exercises to work through at your own pace. These exercises are tailored to your specific needs and limitations, with the aim to increase your movement patterns, reduce pain/discomfort and overall help you function more optimally.
